This Black History Month teachers and students in grade 4-7 are invited to join author Wanda Taylor to discuss her new middle-grade novel, A Recipe for Rhythm and Rescue. Hear Wanda herself as she brings to life Darla's journey to connect with her history and her community through her grandmother's recipe. A Q&A portion with the author will follow the reading. This free event is open to grade 4-7 classes and their teachers, support staff and parent volunteers. Education can register starting on December 8th, please only register one class per space.
